Shanmukh’s brother Sampath Vinay was involved in a case, and the police also detained the YouTuber when they discovered ganja at his residence.
Shanmukh Jaswanth, a former contestant on Bigg Boss Telugu, YouTuber, and actor, is facing legal issues once more. As per a report by TV9, the actor was arrested in Hyderabad after ganja was discovered at his residence.
It is reported that Shanmukh’s brother Sampath Vinay was in a long-term relationship with a woman and they eventually got engaged. However, just a week before their wedding, he ended up marrying another woman. The woman he was engaged to lodged a complaint with the Hyderabad police, alleging that Sampath deceived her. She encountered Sampath through Shanmukh and claimed that his parents pushed her to ‘move on’ since he is now married to someone else.
According to the report, on Wednesday evening, the police visited Shanmukh’s residence in Hyderabad to apprehend his sibling. While he was away, Shanmukh was discovered with ganja. According to the report, the police have arrested him and his brother in two separate cases, and an investigation is currently in progress.
RTV published information about the complaint, where the former partner expressed hesitancy about the relationship but was persuaded by Shanmukh to date his brother. In the complaint, it is also claimed that a constable named Javed allegedly pressured her to withdraw the case.
Shanmukh faced legal consequences in 2021 for driving while intoxicated in Hyderabad. He was apprehended following a collision involving three parked cars and two bikes. The individual’s BAC level was measured at 170 mg/100 ml. He was summoned to court and required to attend counselling at the traffic training institute. According to The Indian Express, Shanmukh allegedly tried to sway the authorities and skipped a counselling session prior to the sentencing.
