Babita Phogat pays respect to the late Suhani Bhatnagar’s parents at their house. 

Suhani Bhatnagar portrayed the younger version of Babita Phogat in Dangal. She passed away on Friday following a diagnosis of dermatomyositis.
Suhani Bhatnagar, the actor from Dangal, passed away at the age of 19 on Friday. She portrayed the role of young Babita Phogat in the movie, alongside Aamir Khan. Recently, wrestler Babita Phogat visited the actor’s house in Faridabad to offer her condolences to the grieving parents.
Babita Phogat shared images from Suhani’s residence, where she had a meeting with the actor’s parents. During a prayer meeting, Suhani’s parents were photographed with Babita Phogat and other attendees. Babita also clasped her hands together in prayer for the departed soul.

Sharing the photos, Babita shared, “Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of my childhood in the film Dangal, reached her Faridabad residence today and paid condolences to her family and expressed condolences. Om Shanti.”

Suhani had a role in just one movie, Dangal, where she appeared with Zaira Wasim as the young version of the Phogat sisters. Nitesh Tiwari directed the film, which revolved around the lives of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh portrayed the adult versions of Babita and Geeta Phogat. In addition to the movie, Suhani also appeared in several commercials.

The 19-year-old passed away on Friday following admission to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Her father verified her passing due to complications from dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory condition resulting in skin rash and muscle weakness. Two months ago, she began experiencing symptoms, starting with swelling in her left hand.

According to her parents, she began experiencing swelling on her hand, which they initially thought was a skin condition… We visited several dermatologists, but unfortunately, nothing made a difference. Upon admission to AIIMS, she received a diagnosis of dermatomyositis. During her treatment, she developed an infection which led to her body producing fluids that caused her lungs to collapse, ultimately resulting in her passing away…
