Aditya Narayan finally speaks out about the widely circulated video of his concert, addressing the incident where he threw a fan’s phone.

Aditya Narayan recently made an appearance at Rungta R2 College in Bhilai, where an incident involving a phone occurred. This is his statement on the matter.
Aditya Narayan, the singer and television host, responded to the uproar surrounding his recent concert, during which he was observed discarding someone’s phone. The incident took place at Rungta R2 College in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Discussing the matter, he provided a brief comment to Zoom Entertainment.
Aditya responded, “Honestly, I have no comments.” I am accountable to a higher power. That’s all.
Aditya’s performance at the event quickly gained traction on social media after a video of it went viral. He performed a rendition of Aaj Ki Raat from the 2006 film Don. As the singer stepped onto the stage, he took a moment to acknowledge a fan in the audience. He proceeded to take the individual’s phone forcefully, and when unsuccessful, resorted to physical aggression. After this, Aditya swiftly grabbed the phone and flung it into the crowd.

The video sparked a wave of criticism towards the singer on social media. Earlier, the event manager stated that the individual involved in the incident was not affiliated with the college. According to his account, the singer became unhinged when his feet were being dragged.
The event manager, who preferred to remain anonymous, mentioned in a separate interview, “That boy was not even a college student, he must be someone from outside the college. He was constantly dragging Aditya’s feet nonstop. He was very irritating. He banged his phone on Aditya’s feet multiple times. After that only did he lose his cool. He must have taken almost 200 selfies with this student. The whole concert went smooth apart from this. After this incident, the show went on for almost two hours. If the student was right, he would have had come forward.”
“Even Darshan Rawal stopped doing such college events because these kinds of activities keep happening in every city. People don’t know the truth behind everything. You just see one side. He kept continuously hitting and dragging Aditya, what if he had fallen down? If this boy was right, he would have come forward and told the college authorities that this has happened to him. I have been connected with the college since many years and they haven’t had a good concert like this one ever. They have said so themselves,” the manager also stated.
