The Bluff, directed by Frank E Flowers, is an AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios film, according to Deadline. The Bluff screenplay was co-written by Frank and Joe Ballarini. The Bluff is set in the 19th century Caribbean and follows Priyanka, a former pirate, who must defend her family from her mysterious past sins.
The film will stream on Prime Video, per the article. Spring production is predicted in Australia. The producers include Priyanka, AGBO’s Anthony, Joe, Angela, and Michael Disco, and Cinestar Pictures’ Cisely and Mariel Saldana. Kassee Whiting, Zoe Saldana, Rocket Science’s Thorsten Schumacher, Ballarini, and Frank are executive producers.
After Citadel last year, Priyanka is back with Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO. The spy thriller starring Priyanka and Richard Madden was Prime Video’s second most-watched new original series outside the US and fourth internationally after its April 28 premiere. Season 2 will begin production this year with Joe Russo directing and AGBO executive producing.
Recently, Priyanka joined Dev Patel, Mindy Kaling, and others as an executive producer on the Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger. She will also appear in Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba. She will star with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar’s forthcoming film Jee Le Zaraa.
