An explosion hit Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe.Video surfaces.

Following the explosion at a popular eatery in Bengaluru, nine individuals have sustained injuries.
As the probe into the improvised explosive device (IED) blast at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe continues, several CCTV footage capturing the moments leading up to the explosion at the popular eatery have emerged.
An explosion shook Rameshwaram Cafe, a well-known dining spot in the IT city’s Whitefield area, at approximately 1 pm on Friday. Nine individuals sustained injuries in the explosion, causing widespread panic.
In a CCTV video shared by ANI, the customers can be seen standing at the billing counter just before the explosion happened. The explosion caused widespread fear as individuals could be observed in the footage rushing to find shelter.

“At 1 PM, a bomb blast occurred at the hotel (cafe), nine people are injured, and no one is serious. We are investigating. FSL (forensic) teams have come and are checking. City police Commissioner and other officers are at the spot. We will certainly identify who did it,” stated Karnataka director general of police (DGP) Alok Mohan during his visit to the blast site, reassuring reporters.
In addition to forensic and bomb squads, a team from the National Investigation Agency (ANI) also inspected the blast site.

“CCTV footage from the cafe is being examined. It has come to be known that someone had left a bag at the cafe. The accused in the incident will be punished,” stated Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.
There was a political uproar over the incident, with the Bharatiya Janata Party criticising the Siddaramaiah government. “The investigation into this case should be handed over to NIA. The CM should take responsibility and immediately resign,”  stated Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra.

“Just spoke to Rameshwaram Cafe founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant. He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion. One of their employees is injured. It’s seems to be a clear case of bomb blast. Bengaluru demands clear answers from CM Siddaramaiah,” according to a post by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on social platform X.
