Fans of Pawan Kalyan start a fire in the theatre to “celebrate” the re-release of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu.

A theatre owner in Nandyala had to pay a lot of money to re-release Puri Jagannadh’s 2012 movie Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, which starred Pawan Kalyan. Some fans made a bonfire inside the theatre and took pictures and videos of it to celebrate their favourite star’s re-release.
“During the re-release of Pawan Kalyan’s movie ‘Cameraman Ganga to Rambabu’, fans lit scraps of papers inside a theatre in Nandyala, earlier today.” ANI said in a video posted on X. Fans are seen whistling and celebrating in the video after setting paper pieces on fire. As the fire burns, they can also be seen shouting, holding signs, and encouraging each other. It’s not clear if they’ve been caught or if charges have been brought against them.
This is not the first time that Pawan’s fans have broken into theatres. They broke into a theatre in Jogulamba Gadwal in 2021 when one of his films had to be stopped because of a technical problem. Fans who broke into a theatre in Vijayawada while drunk in 2023 were caught by the police, who also gave other people a strong warning.
