According to Netflix India, Do Patti is Kajol’s first role as a police officer and the debut thriller produced by Kriti Sanon. The author is Kanika Dhillon.
Kajol and Kriti Sanon are gearing up to go head-to-head in Do Patti, an upcoming thriller by Shashanka Chaturvedi. Netflix India revealed a sneak peek of the movie on Thursday, offering a glimpse into the intense cat-and-mouse game.
Starting with Kajol riding a bike in the hills, the teaser sets the tone for what’s to come. She is embarking on her next mission, which promises to be filled with truth, evidence, heart, and betrayal, as hinted in the teaser. Although the teaser doesn’t reveal many details, it does showcase Kriti Sanon in a more serious role for the first time. Kajol has starred in thrillers such as Dushman and Gupt, while Do Patti is Kriti’s first venture into this genre. This marks Kajol’s debut as a police officer. It’s hard to decipher the plot from the teaser, but it suggests that Kajol’s cop will be in conflict with Kriti’s suspect.
Described as an intriguing mystery thriller set in the hills of north India, the film is helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, also known as BOB.
Patti is the debut production of Sanon and writer Kanika Dhillon’s newly-launched production companies Blue Butterfly Films and Kathha Pictures, respectively. This movie represents the second time Kajol and Sanon have worked together since Rohit Shetty’s 2015 film Dilwale.
Previously, when discussing the film, Kajol expressed her excitement about collaborating with Netflix again for another project, following Tribhanga and Lust Stories 2, promising an exciting journey with Patti.

The streamer has not yet revealed the release date of Do Patti.
