Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti play the role of rebellious air hostesses who engage in various mischievous activities like taking peanut boxes, handling unruly passengers, and aiming to make a fortune in the Crew teaser. Also, there’s a sneak peek of Diljit Dosanjh in the movie, which appears to be a heist film featuring three ‘cool’ women. Sharing the teaser, Kareena aptly captioned on Instagram,“Kursi ki peti baandh lein, kyuki yahan ka taapmaan aapke liye bahot garm hone vala hai (Fasten your seat belts, because the temperature here is going to be too hot for you).”
The setting of Crew is within the challenging airline industry. The film Crew, directed by Rajesh Krishnan, is scheduled to be released on March 29.
On Friday, the cast and makers had revealed the initial posters featuring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon from the movie. Some images showcased the actors in a red uniform, while another depicted them as flight attendants wearing sarees.
Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon are collaborating for the first time in Crew. The movie will showcase Diljit Dosanjh in a prominent role and Kapil Sharma in a brief appearance. The show Crew was co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who are collaborating again after their 2018 project Veere Di Wedding, which also starred Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.
During a 2023 interview with India Today, Kareena Kapoor discussed her upcoming film Crew, describing it as a ‘cool’ movie featuring three women. She described it as “It’s really a cool space of comedy, heist and typical commercial masala film with three women in the lead… As an actor, I love to do things that are a little extra challenging, pushing me to step out of my comfort zone.”
