A new addition to the family of Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur arrived on February 7, 2023.
Massey shared the news on his social media platform, expressing his happiness with a brief and heartfelt message.
Last year, Massey announced their pregnancy on Instagram by sharing a photo from their wedding day with the caption “We are expecting!” The photo was captioned “New Beginnings,” suggesting the thrilling chapter they were about to start.
The couple, who had been in a relationship for a significant period, exchanged vows in a civil ceremony on February 14, 2022. They then celebrated their union with a traditional ceremony in Himachal Pradesh on February 18, 2022. The couple, who star together in the first season of the web series Broken but Beautiful, became engaged in a private Roka ceremony in 2019. Unfortunately, their marriage was postponed as a result of the global pandemic.
Vikrant was recently featured in the popular film 12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Medha Shankar is also part of the film’s cast. 12th Fail is a captivating story that delves into the remarkable journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who triumphed over dire poverty to achieve the prestigious position of an IPS officer. This inspiring tale, based on Anurag Pathak’s book, sheds light on the incredible resilience and determination of the protagonist. The film highlights his journey and emphasises the crucial role his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, played in his success. Vikrant took on the character of Manoj, while Medha brought Shraddha to life. The film 12th Fail was released in theatres on October 27 last year.
Vikrant is ready to take on a new role in The Sabarmati Report, alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. Ranjan Chandel has been chosen to lead the project, which is based on a story written by Aseem Arrora. The upcoming film is a production by Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Films. The release date is set for May 3.
