OnePlus 11 and 12 now come equipped with advanced AI capabilities thanks to the latest software update.

While the Samsung Galaxy S24 series garnered attention for its AI-powered features, OnePlus has discreetly introduced its own AI offerings with a recent ColorOS update in China.

The update has been released for the OnePlus 12 and 11 models exclusively in the Chinese market. The firmware version for the OnePlus 11 is PHB110_14.0.0.403(CN01), while the OnePlus 12 has the firmware version PJD110_14.0.0.405(CN01).
While not as comprehensive as Samsung’s offering, the update introduces three generative AI features.

What does the update consists of

Firstly, an AI Summarizer is available that can generate concise summaries of phone calls, including important details such as time, location, and other relevant information.

Coming up is the AIGC Remover, an image editor that allows you to effortlessly remove unwanted people or objects from your photos, just like the AI photo editing features found on Samsung and Google Pixel devices.

At long last, OnePlus has introduced an Article Summarizer feature that allows users to obtain concise summaries of articles with a simple tap.

In addition to AI, the update also introduces a feature that allows users to unlock their phone using the fingerprint scanner without having to wake the screen. Now, users have the ability to control QQ Music on Always-On Display. Additionally, there is an option to choose whether to display the screen recording indicator in the status bar or as a floating window.

The latest update for the OnePlus 12 focuses on improving the stability and compatibility of Bluetooth, NFC, and WLAN networks. Additionally, it tackles the problem of network signals in areas with underground-like environments.
