National Creators Awards: Recognising outstanding achievements and impact in storytelling, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming.At Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded the first ‘National Creators Award’. This award recognises outstanding achievements and impact in areas including storytelling, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming. This platform is a great way to channel creativity towards inspiring positive change. The award covers twenty categories such as Best Storyteller, Disruptor of the Year, Celebrity Creator of the Year, Green Champion, Best Creator for Social Change, Most Impactful Agri Creator, Cultural Ambassador of the Year, and International Creator. Maithili Thakur, a talented singer trained in Indian classical music and folk music, was recently named the winner of ‘Cultural Ambassador of The Year’. More than 150,000 nominations were submitted across 20 categories, with around 1 million votes cast during the voting phase for digital creators in different award categories. Following the selection process, 23 individuals emerged as winners, with three of them being from overseas.
